The road leads through the center of the village towards Poloučany, just at the end of the spa we will turn to Hradišťský vrch. At the crossroads at the foot of the steep hill we will turn left and the narrow forest path will lead us to the statue of the Virgin Mary in the Rock. The place of pilgrimage lies in a rocky hillside and according to the oral tradition, the daughter of a gamekeeper from Poloučany was lost in the area. When they finally found her here after a very long search, she told them she was playing a beautiful shining woman with her little boy. Grateful parents have a statue of the Virgin Mary bulit here, and people from around the world came here to pray. We’ll return through Poloučany or back along the same path.
